What We Do

What you might expect on a typical club night!

Every month on the 3rd Monday evening

Monthly club nights are made up from a variety of different elements and will usually include either a guest or professional woodworker from one speciality or another to demonstrate their particular skills or, a Hands On evening when attendees are invited to try out new techniques under supervision using the clubs own machinery and equipment.

Competition
Members are invited to make a specific item and enter their efforts into the competition to be judged by other members on the night.
Raffle
We hold monthly raffles on Club Nights with the prizes being supplied by the members.
Display Table
Members can bring along items they have produced and can share any techniques they may have used.
Sale Table
Various items from members workshops that are no longer wanted, needed, replaced, superseded or duplicated are made available to members at bargain prices.

Library
The club  has a wide selection of books, DVD’s and magazines on a wide range of wood working topics available to borrow at minimum cost.
Refreshments
Our evenings are divided in two by a welcome tea/coffee and biscuit break which gives members the chance to socialise.
